After leaving YFA, Lorelei spent 3 years at Leeds University studying a degree in maths and management. After graduating she found temporary administrative work for a company in both their Birmingham and Brussels offices. Keen to travel, Lorelei then spent a year back packing in Australia, finding temporary work fruit picking and as an exhibition sales assistant to pay for her traveling. She then moved to New Zealand, Malaysia and Thailand before returning to England. Whilst working back in Birmingham, she decided that her real interest lies in voluntary work. She is currently working for a charity in India dealing with the after effects of a cyclone in an outlying region. She returned home in September 2000 to study a masters degree. |
