You want to consider joining?

Aston Young Firefighters Association unfortunately no longer operates.

However, if you want to consider joining one of the YFA branches in the West Midlands ask yourself all of the questions below.

Are you between the ages of eleven and sixteen?

Are you prepared to:

        - wear a smart uniform?
        - join a disciplined group?
        - commit at least one night a week to the branch?
        - give up some weekends to raise money?
        - participate in the Duke of Edinburgh's Award?

If you were able to answer yes to all those questions, there may be a place for you.

Non West Midlands Residents

Not all Fire Brigades run a young firefighters association or a cadet scheme but many do, so if you live outside the West Midlands try contacting your local fire station for details. The number will be in the phone book or you could see if they are listed on our links page.
